Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal spotted on a secret getaway

Lovebirds Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal were spotted on a secret getaway last weekend.

Jake and Reese checked into the Carneros Inn in California's scenic Napa Valley on Sunday night.

They were spotted picking up the keys for one of the hotel's cottages, nestled among 27 acres of endless rows of grape vines, unspoiled farmland, and scenic apple orchards.

"They went in but we didn't see them surface until Monday evening," said a guest.

The resort's private villas feature multiple bedrooms and over 1,000 square-feet of personal outdoor space.

They cost between $1,600 to $2,400 per night.
