Sadie Frost "devastated" Jude Law missed her grandfather's funeral

Jude Law's ex, Sadie Frost was reportedly left "devastated" after the 'Alfie' actor  wouldn't leave the filming of his new film, 'Repossession Mambo', in Canada to attend the funeral of his children's 94-year-old great-grandfather.

A source close to Sadie, 42, said:  "The fact that Jude did not come really hurt Sadie, especially as it was his children who lost their great-grandfather. She is devastated at losing her maternal grandfather, and she knows how difficult it will now be for her mother Mary, who lives alone in a cottage in Somerset.

She knew he was filming in Canada, but felt that in situations like that, he should have moved mountains to come."

However, Sadie's first husband, singer Gary Kemp did attend the funeral.

The source added to British newspaper The Daily Express: "Gary is such a nice guy, and insisted on being there to support his former wife. She really appreciated him taking the time out to go with her to the ceremony, as she felt she couldn't have done it alone."
