Julia Roberts was once asked for an autograph while she was sitting on the toilet, she has revealed.

The Erin Brokovich star said she was in a bathroom stall when one fan began to talk to her.

The woman asked her if she was the Oscar-winning actress - then slipped a note across the floor.

Roberts recalled: "I was in a bathroom. In came a note with, 'Girl in Stall Number One, were you in 'Mystic Pizza'?

I stopped peeing long enough to answer, 'Yeah.'

"Then, 'Can you sign this for me?'"
She told a US newspaper: "I said, 'I'm the tiniest bit busy right now.'"

It comes as mum-of-three Roberts, 40, urged celebrity magazines to stop printing photographs of stars' kids.
