Troubled Britney Spears has been hit by allegations she actually lost her virginity at the age of 14.

The fallen pop princess rose to stardom proclaiming that she had never had sex - despite her risqué image.

Now an American magazine claims Spears first had sex with her childhood boyfriend Reg Jones.

Her former lawyer Eric Ervin tells US Weekly magazine that her virgin image was a 'PR blitz'.

And he claims that Spears and former lover Justin Timberlake had an intimate relationship from the very start.

When Spears burst onto the music scene she famously vowed to remain a virgin until she was married.
