Cristiano Ronaldo sued by fan

Manchester United soccer ace Cristiano Ronaldo is being sued by a fan for allegedly stamping on his arm.

Carl Lloyd, 34, claims that Ronaldo, 22, dug his studs into his arm as he went to retrieve a ball at a recent football match.

At the time of the alleged incident,  Ronaldo was playing against rival team Everton at Goodison Park in September this year.

A police investigation has cleared the striker of criminal charges.

But now Carl insists he couldn't work for 2 weeks from the injury and was left with bruisings. He will instead try to win damages.

'I haven't even had an apology,' he tells British newspaper The Sun.
