Lindsay Lohan wants to appear in Ugly Betty

Lindsay Lohan wants to do a Posh Spice.

The rehabbed starlet is keen to appear on hit TV show Ugly Betty like Victoria Beckham.

Lohan has not yet done a deal with ABC but is in talks with the U.S producers of the show to appear as a restaurant employee befriended by star America Ferrera.

But Lindsay's role has been put on the back burner until the current writer's strike is called off. "She's totally looking forward to it," Lohan's publicist Leslie Sloane Zelnik told the New York Post.

"She loves the show. Lindsay was flattered there was interest in her from the show.

"They talked character points and she loved the character."
