50 Cent offers his condolences to Kanye West
Badboy rapper 50 Cent has laid his bitter feud with rival rapper Kanye West to rest - and offered his sincere condolences to Kanye over the recent loss of his mother, Donda West.
Kanye's mother passed away earlier this month after complications following cosmetic surgery.
50, real name Curtis James Jackson and Kanye West have been embroiled in a fierce war of wills after they both decided to release albums on the same day in September this year.
But, 50 has elected to forgive and forget in the light of current circumstances.
He said: “It's really an unfortunate situation and I hope he can work his way through it.
“It’s good to see him actually touring. You can work your way back into a comfortable space where you can deal with those situations.”
According to British newspaper The Sun, 50 Cent, 32, sympathises with Kanye’s loss - after consoling label mate Lloyd Banks over a recent bereavement in his family.
Lloyd lost his father while the pair were touring together.
50 added: “I was telling him: ‘You need to go back and do what you need to do’, and he thought maybe I was a little insensitive.
“But I can definitely understand how that’s a huge loss, and how that would be, and then (Kanye’s) relationship with his mum had a lot more depth to it than a lot of people’s. He was real close to his mum.
“I hope that he can work his through his way through it ... if you’re active, you’ll find reasons to smile, reasons to be happy.”
