Harry Potter fans get the chance to star in 'Half-Blood Prince'
Harry Potter fans are being offered a once a lifetime opportunity to be a part of movie history - the chance to appear in the next Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
Thanks to Warner Home Video and Microsoft one lucky Harry Potter fan will get the chance to star alongside 'Potter' stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson & Rupert Grint, in what will be the sixth installment in the Harry Potter series'.
The competition, exclusive in the UK to MSN, marks the launch of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix on DVD and goes live on the Harry Potter website on Friday November 23rd.
Surely the best Christmas present any young wizard or witch could possibly conjure up, Harry Potter fans will have the chance to appear on the big screen by answering a series of questions relating to Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
A new question will be posted each week until Sunday December 20th 2007 and fans will have to swot up on their Harry Potter film knowledge to be eligible to win the prize.
A spokesman for MSN said: “We’re so excited about being able to offer this amazing prize to one Harry Potter fan.. This really will make someone’s Christmas dreams come true! When Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix opened this year our dedicated movie site was packed full of Potter news, reviews, games and photos and was visited by thousands and thousands of fans from across the country. Needless to say, we expect this to be a highly contested competition.”
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, directed by David Yates, began filming on September 17 2007 - and the film is scheduled for a UK and U.S. release on November 21 2008.
The book, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by author J.K Rowling has sold more-than 65 million copies worldwide.
