November 28 2007

Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-CivilTroubled British singer Amy Winehouse is apparently planning to perform a gig at London's Pentonville Prison to lift the spirits of her jailed husband, Blake Fielder-Civil.

Troubled Winehouse, 24, has been a wreck since Blake was taken to the notorious London jail - where he awaits sentencing for charges of GBH & conspiracy to pervert the the course of justice.

Now Winehouse plans to show Blake her support by treating him and the other prison inmates to a performance.

A source close to the "Valerie" star is quoted by Britain's Daily Sport newspaper as saying: "Amy has been in pieces ever since Blake was arrested. She can't stand the thought of him being alone in prison and wants to play a show there.

"She thinks it would be a fitting tribute to him, it would cheer him up and it would also help her cope with being separated from him."
