Jennifer Love-Hewitt gets engaged to Ross McCall

BRITISH actor Ross McCall has got engaged to his Hollywood superstar girlfriend Jennifer Love-Hewitt.

According to reports in the US, he proposed to the actress and singer/songwriter with an antique engagement ring which has been in his family for more than 100 years.

The lovebirds are now planning a lavish wedding and are currently celebrating with a sunshine break in Hawaii.
A date has not yet been set for the nuptials.

Scottish McCall, 32, is best known for his role in US mini-series Band of Brothers.

He has been dating the 28-year-old star of I Know What You Did Last Summer since they met on the set of US TV series Ghost Whisperer.

"They got engaged last week," Love-Hewitt's representative told one US magazine.
