Lindsay Lohan's lawyers demand proof in drink-driving lawsuit
Lindsay Lohan's lawyers yesterday demanded a van driver provides proof to back up his $200,000 drink-driving lawsuit against the star.
Raymondo Ortega claims the Mean Girls actress had been drinking when her black Mercedes Benz was in collision with his van in October 2005.
But yesterday lawyers acting for the starlet filed legal papers calling for him to back up his damages claim with hard evidence within 30 days.
Ortega claims that she had been drinking at The Ivy restaurant in Los Angeles before the crash.
He also claims the star was not paying attention to the road because she was fleeing a flock of paparazzi.
Lohan says that Ortega's claims are inaccurate an unsupported by Police documents.
She has already counter sued him and is asking for more than $75,000 in damages for the repair of her car and the cost of a hire car.
Yesterdays move comes after a judge ruled the starlet must provide videotaped evidence in the lawsuit.
