Victoria Beckham to appear naked on a range of charity T-shirts

November 30 2007

Victoria BeckhamSpice Girls singer Victoria Beckham is set to appear naked on a new range of charity T-shirts by fashion designer Marc Jacobs.

Jacobs, 44, got Victoria to agree to be the face of his 2008 Spring/Summer collection - then sprang the surprise that he also wanted her to strip off.

33-year-old Victoria, dubbed 'Posh Spice' from her days with Brit band the Spice Girls, will follow in the footsteps of stars such as Julianne Moore, Dita Von Teese and Naomi Campbell, who all got naked for his T-shirts in 2006.

Britain's Mirror newspaper reports that previous charity T-Shirts have managed to raise a cool $60,000 for a skin cancer charity - and Victoria's naked pose is expected to propel this year's takings even higher.

A source close to the 'Spice Up Your Life' singer said: "Victoria loves Marc's work but she wasn't entirely comfortable with getting naked.

"Marc went all-out to persuade her. And when she heard about what a great cause it was she knew she just couldn't turn it down. The picture she and Marc have chosen is amazing - sexy but tasteful."

The T-shirts are expected to sell for $20 each in Marc's stores.

And being chosen to front Jacob's forthcoming collection is set to thrust Posh, who begins her Spice Girls world tour in Vancouver at the weekend - to A-list fashionista status. A source close to Marc gushed: "He thinks she's fab."
