Prince Harry gives up smoking
Prince Harry, who recently split up with his girlfriend Chelsy Davy has reportedly given up the cigarettes.
The 23-year-old royal has told pals he's been off the fags for weeks.
Harry, who unsuccessfully tried to ditch the nasty habit in January this year - to prepare himself for the UK's smoking ban in July, looks like he's gently weening himself off ciggies - by swapping to 'lights' first.
A pal of the prince said: "It's still early days and he has failed before, but this time he's determined.
"He feels he is finally winning the battle."
Harry reportedly started smoking when he was just 14 & was in attendance at Windsor's exclusive Eton college. At one point, he was thought to have been smoking 20 cigarettes a day - much to the disgust of dad Prince Charles.
"Harry used to feel really guilty," the pal tells Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper. "And Charles is so pleased that he seems serious about quitting for good this time."
But pals reckon Harry giving up permanently will be tougher than he reckons. Girlfriend Chelsy Davy, 22, also likes the odd puff.
