Guy Ritchie changed his film on Madonna's orders

Director Guy Ritchie has revealed he changed his film 'Revolver' after his wife Madonna ordered him to.

The 'Snatch' director revealed his superstar wife had a lot of input in the final cut of the film.

Speaking at a VIP screening of 'Revolver' on Friday, Guy said: "We made it shorter and tried to make it simpler. Funnily enough, we took out the bits that my wife recommended we take out the first time she saw it!"

While Guy insists he is happy to take professional advice from Madonna, the British director, who shot to fame with his London gangster films, insists he is in charge at home.

Guy - who has a seven-year-old son Rocco, and two-year-old adopted son David and is stepdad to Madonna's 11-year-old daughter Lourdes - laughed: "I'm the disciplinarian in our family. Madonna is too much of a softie!"

Madonna  cheekily added: "He's my disciplinarian too!"
