Katherine Heigl seen shopping for bridesmaid's outfits

Katherine Heigl was spotted shopping for bridesmaid's outfits in preparation for her imminent wedding.

The Grey's Anatomy star was seen in L.A. selecting fabrics for dresses and picking shoes for her four bridesmaids to wear on her big day.

Heigl, 29, was accompanied by her mum for the shopping trip and appeared to be in a great mood for the present paparazzi.

The model turned actress, who is currently the cover star of Vanity Fair was asked by the paparazzi if she enjoyed working for the prestigious US mag.

Heigl said: "It was exciting doing the front cover of Vanity Fair, especially now I am getting married."

Heigl got engaged to singer Josh Kelley in June 2007. The pair met on the set of his music video, 'Only You' in the summer.

They initially announced they would marry in October 2007. However, the ceremony date was pushed back to December 23, 2007.

Katherine Heigl got her big acting break in 2005, when she was cast as intern Dr. Isobel "Izzie" Stevens on ABC's hit medical drama, Grey's Anatomy.

The star has also made the breakthrough onto the big screen - appearing in the box office smash hit comedy, 'Knocked Up,' gaining rave reviews from film critics.
