Paul McCartney's US tour in jeopardy thanks to Heather Mills
Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney has revealed that his forthcoming tour could be disrupted by his divorce with estranged wife Heather Mills, because the bitter legal battle is "dictating" his life.
Paul, 65, who's currently promoting his new album Memory Almost Full, his first album with new record label Starbucks, said he wants to play the US, but added: "I don't want to talk about my divorce, though it has a bearing on that."
Paul, currently embroiled in a bitter legal battle with Heather Mills, said his music helps helps him forget his woes.
He told the Chicago Tribune newspaper: "I just try to keep my head down and get on with my music.
"That's the great thing, the great healer. I'm trying to make an antidote."
Sir Paul and Heather's 4-year-old daughter Beatrice is bemused by old photos of dad. He said: "It's spooky, she puts it best.
"She sees pictures of me in The Beatles, and she'll say, 'That's daddy when he was different'."

"Friends" can say whatever they want, stories are made up or sensationalized. But at the end of the day, what matters is what comes out of the mouth of the two people in this divorce. Paul has remained silent, moving on with new projects, enjoying his life, friends and family. Heather can do the same, but she chooses to rant and rave to the press. Did he manipulate her, I doubt it, go re- read some of her rants and you will see who wanted to rule the house. I guess he wasn't buying it. It's shame either of them have to put things on hold. It doesn't have to be that way. Move on Heather.

That is why SHE is the one going on various shows to slag him off. Sir Paul has said NOTHING. Nothing. Heather has said a lot. I am most definitely on team McCartney because Heather is a dirty hoe with a lot of skeletons in her closet and she never told him this up front.

I'm not on either "team"-but there are blatant and non-blatant ways to use the media. She is uneducated and has made a mess with her outbursts. However, he has been doing this for years and knows how to try to look dignified by supposidly saying "nothing", but then allow "friends" leak info. to accomplish his objectives. I wonder how much he manipulated her internally and maybe that is why she did the outbursts? We may never know. I grew up in public life so I know what is going on (crystal clear). I just feel sorry for the child.

I just hope that Paul will go on tour soon, I've been dying to go and I've never been to one yet. I think Paul's handling everything the right way, by trying to forget about it all and just go on with his life, family, and music. I also loved how he said that he'll not let any of this business be in his music. I am totally 1,000% on Paul's side, I hate that "what's her face". I hope his daughter never has to see her again. We're all with ya, and I LOVE YOU PAUL!!!

Paul don't worry, you can do one off shows here in there. Don't let that nut disrupt your life. But in the end do what's good for you and your daughter - and love life. Go get'em Paul.
Let's not forget that Paul
Let's not forget that Paul has hundreds of millions of fans, and Heather has had to fight uphill since she was first linked to a Beatle. Paul is my favorite musician without a doubt, but to say Heather has constantly talked crap about him in the media, was false up until recently. Eveything said until a couple months ago was quoted from the famous 'source close to Heather'and after awhile that just turns into reputable fact, when it's nothing of the sort. Paul is a cheap person, and we all know he won't tour to pad her pockets, but to say shes holding it up, is like saying she's keeping an eager Paul away from the public. If he doesn't tour, it won't be her fault.It'll break my heart if Paul doesn't tour this year, but I won't blame Heather!

Sir Paul is not deserving of all of Heather's nonsense.All he wanted to do was to love someone.I really hope that a tour of the USA won't be jeapardized because of all that has happened.I think that to focus on a tour would be a good thing for Paul;it would also bring him some money that she couldn't touch!! Sir Paul's silence,I feel,is a true sign of dignity in an otherwise awful situation.It takes great strength of character to be able to do that!

Yes, great strength of character, I agree. Too bad Miss HM cannot do the same, their daughter would have benefitted from a more amicable situation. She evidently does not realise what an honour it is to remain on good terms with an ex and the benefits she and their little one can derive from that alone, all money issues aside. I can hardly wait for a tour. I thoroughly enjoyed the 2005 tour and another would surely mark the end of this horrendous divorce drama. I hope he writes a few good songs from this experience...because we all love the way he has with words and melody!
