Scarlett Johansson threatens legal action against US magazine

Actress Scarlett Johansson is reportedly threatening to sue a US magazine over a report they published claiming the 'Lost in Translation' actress had  a nose job.

The magazine printed a picture of Scarlett, 23, under the title 'A List Nip/Tuck' - but Scarlett has insisted she's never gone under the knife, claiming the feature could damage her image.

Scarlett fumed: "I have always been straightforward with the press regarding my body image and I am very concerned that my fans will feel misled."

"Thus, I feel compelled to take immediate legal action."

A spokesperson for Johansson branded the report "outrageous".
