Amy Winehouse's quirky look praised by Victoria Beckham

Only days ago she was labeled Karl Lagerfeld's new muse, and now Amy Winehouse has received the ultimate fashion accolade of all - praise from Lady Fashion herself, Victoria Beckham.

Posh, 33, who is currently on tour with The Spice Girls, revealed that she admires the 'Rehab' singer's quirky image.

She told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "She has a real sense of style that I just love. She's very much a fashion icon and I adore what she wears. She's so unique and original."

Victoria, who is due to play London's O2 Arena alongside band mates Geri, Mel B, Mel C & Emma Bunton, added: "I've never met her but I just love her music - I've always got it on at home with David and the children. She's an amazing singer."

Victoria's praise comes only days after Lagerfeld declared that Amy was the "new Brigitte Bardot".

Amy - who recently signed up to be the face of trendy fashion label Gio Goi, is said to be on the wish list of nearly every major fashion magazine editor in the country.

A source close to the singer added: "After she did a shoot for American Vogue, her profile soared and the phone didn't stop ringing.

"Then there was the cover of Rolling Stone magazine which was just as influential.

"She is more in demand than ever, it's just a shame she is not in the right frame of mind to see that."
