Eva Longoria's husband denies cheating on his wife with a French model
Eva Longoria's husband has slammed claims he cheated on his wife with a French model.
Basketball star Tony Parker spoke out after Alexandra Paressant said she had a steamy affair with him earlie this year.
She claimed she first met the basketball star when she attended his and Eva's wedding, as a guest of football star Thierry Henry.
She said they then went on have several romps in hotel rooms. But Parker angrily hit out - claiming he "loved" his wife.
He said: "I love my wife.
"She's the best thing in my life, and I have never been happier."
Desperate Housewives star Longoria added: "Tony has been nothing short of the perfect husband."
A spokeswoman for Longoria, Liza Anderson, had earlier called the allegations "completely, 100 percent false and untrue."
She added: "All high-profile couples fall victim to these sorts of things in the course of their relationships.
"It appears that this is not the first time this woman has used an athlete to gain public notoriety."
Longoria, 32, recently took 25-year-old Parker's last name following their Paris, France marriage in July.
Paressant had said she was immediately attracted to Parker. But she alleged they did not contact each other until September 29, when the sportsman visited Paris, staying at the Park Hyatt Hotel.
She alleged: "We had room service. He said that Eva, sexually speaking, does not want to do certain things."
She added that she believed Parker felt obligated to marry Eva because "everybody has to get married at a point, but (for him) it is still time to enjoy life".
