Leona Lewis favors boyfriend over fame
X Factor star Leona Lewis claims that her record label want her to ditch her long-term boyfriend Lou Al-Chamaa.
According to Leona, 22, her bosses at BMG reckon she will have a better chance of cracking America if she is unattached romantically.
"I have had chats with my team, but you know he won't be dropped – I love him and adore him, and he's the reason I'm able to do all this," Leona said.
The 'Bleeding Love' star, who's currently number one in the UK singles and album charts - admits she would rather quit the music industry than be without her lover of five years.
"It's hard being separated and all that, but we're working on it,' she tells New!
"If I was told to leave him, I'd leave the business."
