Julia Roberts to cook up a festive treat this Christmas

Actress Julia Roberts says she is treating her fer family to an extra-special batch of homemade, festive cookies this Christmas.

The 'Pretty Woman' actress, 40, says she has a special recipe, which has been handed down to her, which she uses every year to bring a smile to her loved ones' faces.

She said: "It's a good food holiday in our house. I always bake my special cookies, with a little help from my family, and top them off with this amazing icing."

Julia, who has three-year-old twins and a six-month-old son with her husband Danny Moder, has also revealed her twins are getting really excited about Christmas this year because they are old enough to understand how special it is.

She added: "They're just starting to figure out what Christmas is and why it's special. They can't wait to unwrap all their presents."
