David Beckham denies wearing Victoria Beckham's lacey knickers
David Beckham finally put an end to the rumor that he likes to wear his wife's undies by insisting Victoria told the white lie to embarrass him.
The former England captain was left red-faced when his other half announced her 'Goldenballs' wears her lacey knickers. But he insisted the rumor was false."My wife has that sort of thing that when we're on live TV or when we are on a TV show, she likes to say certain things, like me wearing her knickers," he said.
"Yes she said that, which I actually don't."
He then confessed that his obsession with being tidy drives Victoria insane. "I'm just obsessed with neatness and have to have everything in the right place, she finds it very annoying," he said.
"In our house in Spain we used to have this big rug that you could hoover in lines, like Wembley, so Victoria used to catch me after the kids went to bed hoovering and it would all be in perfect lines."
But he then insisted he does not vacuum wearing a pinny, which Victoria also claimed in another TV interview. "It's a definite no," he added.
Becks, 32, then admitted he would never be a football manager and revealed he would play the game for free.
Despite signing a $250million deal to play for LA Galaxy, the former England captain said he doesn't play for the money. "The money is not important to me," he said.
"It never has been and never will be. I would play football for free I have always said that.
"I said that before I started playing football for Manchester United, Real Madrid and the Galaxy."
Speaking on the Parkinson chat show, Beckham also revealed he has been scared of every single manager in his career - but Steve McClaren didn't quite leave him quaking in his football boots.
The former England skipper said he was terrified of his dad Ted at seven years of age and Sir Alex Ferguson scared him during his time at Manchester United.
But he refused to confirm that ex-England boss McClaren, who infamously axed him for the squad in 2006, was frightening. "I'm a lot more grown up now and more aware and a lot braver," he said.
