Jamie Lynn Spears pregnant; Britney the last to know
Out-of-touch Britney Spears was apparently the last to know her 16-year-old sister Jamie Lynn is pregnant.
The troubled singer was asked for her thoughts after the shock news her kid sister is expecting broke on Tuesday night.
But she told photographers and fans: "My sister's not pregnant!"
Britney seemed oblivious to Jamie Lynn and mum Lynne's announcement to a magazine as she went on a private shopping spree in Beverly Hills.
Sources close to the Spears family say Jamie Lynn had not told Britney she is pregnant.
She reportedly turned to Britney for support during a pregnancy scare earlier this year. An insider told a US magazine: "Britney told Jamie Lynn she'd help her with anything she needed. "She promised to keep her secret and not say anything."
