Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge to marry?
Jamie Lynn Spears and her boyfriend Casey Aldridge are reportedly set to get married.
According to reports, Jamie Lynn - who revealed she was expecting her first child with Aldridge, 18, is reportedly 'desperate' to marry her boyfriend, despite reservations from her family.
A source close to the Spears family said: "Jamie Lynn and Casey want to get married really bad. But both sets of parents don't think they should. They think they are too young and should wait.
"The problem with Jamie Lynn is that she is a teenager. She doesn't understand the ramifications. She's just a child with not a lick of sense. There's no reasoning with her. Jamie Lynn is not thinking 10 years down the road - not even two years down the road."
Despite Jamie Lynn's parents, Jamie and Lynne, refusing to give permission for their youngest daughter to tie the knot, they do approve of her relationship with Casey.
The source added to America's People magazine: "He has always taken amazing care of Jamie Lynn. If anything ever went wrong, he always comforted her. He took care of her.
"Jamie talks about how he really likes Casey because he's a great guy. Lynne really likes him, too. He's a good kid, cares a lot about Jamie Lynn. They both adore Casey.
"Casey is a stand-up guy, and he will take care of the baby. He is not the type to let her deal with it on her own. He will be there in any way he can. He will be a good father."

I personally, coming from a sixteen year olds point of veiw think that she's really foolish thinking her life is just going to be all happy with a boyfriend of nineteen that decides it's wise to get his girlfriend pregnant at this age. If she's ready , she's ready . A very good friend of mine was 15 when she had her baby, and though she still parties and goes out alot, she cares for her child.
If there's love LACKING in the parenting area, which is rather clear considering how britney and now jamie lynn turned out, then a bay to care & love for on her own is the smartest way to resolve. The only worry i have is if the 19 year old that gets her pregnant is going to stay with her, if so , then this is just another teen pregnancy to add to the books. just because she's famous doesn't mean she's incapable. just promise me one this Jamie Lynn, you WILL NOT be like Britney as a parent.
If i DO recall, Britney had many tabloids and interviews saying that she loves kids and is so excited to finally raise one. she shot that idea to the ground fast & hard. And she was also an adult.

She's pregnant. And she's young and stupid. More and more kids under the age of 18 are getting pregnant each year. Despite my huge approval for her pregnancy, she is pregnant and it was her personal decision to keep the child. Although it may seem bad that she is pregnant because of the bad ramifications of her older sister, but that has nothing to do with jamie. She is her own person. However she is very young and she has put up a road block in her life that will slow her life down a bit, but she is taking responsibility for her actions and dealing with consequences. So everyone.
So please dont say anything unless you were in her situation. Everyone's opinion changes once they are put in the situation.
