Jessica Simpson urged to stay away from Tony Romo

Loved-up Jessica Simpson has been urged to stay away from her hunky new American football star boyfriend - by his fed-up team-mates.

Fans blamed Jessica for jinxing Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo last weekend as he put in his worst performance of the season with her watching from the stands.

Now Cowboys star Terrell Owens has admitted even the players think she has taken Romo's eye off the ball.

Owens blasted: "Right now, Jessica Simpson is not a fan favourite - in this locker-room or in Texas Stadium."

He added: "I think a lot of people feel she has taken his focus away. "Other than that, she was high on my list until last week.

The Cowboys lost 10-6 to the Philadelphia Eagles last Sunday as Romo endured a personal nightmare in statistically the worst game of his career.
