Jamie Lynn Spears wants to get married; Spears family not happy

Jamie Lynn Spears, Britney Spears' little sis is pregnant; and she wants to get married, her family, however, aren't happy - and claims she has "the mind of a teenager."

Jamie, 16, is pregnant with her long-term boyfriend Casey Aldridge's baby.

A source close to the Spears family said: "Jamie Lynn and Casey want to get married really bad. But both sets of parents don't think they should. They think they are too young and should wait.

"The problem with Jamie Lynn is that she has the mind of a teenager. She doesn't understand the ramifications.

"She's just a child with not a lick of sense. There's no reasoning with her. Jamie Lynn is not thinking 10 years down the road - not even two years down the road."

But the source claims that Casey, 18, has been welcomed into the Spears family fold and will take responsibility for his actions, adding, "He's a stand-up guy, and he will take care of the baby. He is not the type to let her deal with it on her own.

"He will be there in any way he can... I know a baby wasn't in his plans for right now, but he'll do what he has to do, and he'll be a good father. He really will."

Meanwhile, it has been reported that 'Zoey 101' star Jamie hasn't been paid by OK! magazine yet - for the startling interview she gave the publication which broke the news of her pregnancy on Monday.

According to British newspaper The Sun, the Spears family have agreed the money - $1 Million - will change hands after the baby is born. This sum will also include an exclusive new photo shoot with mum and tot.

Mum Lynne wanted OK! to have the story first after they handled Britney's disastrous OK! mag shoot earlier this year 'so well' considering her infamous meltdown.

She stayed in touch with OK!, and called them after she learned that boyfriend Casey got Jamie-Lynn pregnant.

A source told TMZ.com: “She trusted them to do it in a way that would be sympathetic to her daughter."
