Kylie Minogue denies adoption rumors

Australian pop princess Kylie Minogue - who recently starred alongside Brit actor David Tennant for a Christmas special of Sci-fi hit Doctor Who, has denied reports that she is planning to adopt.

The 39-year-old '2 Hearts' singer has been quite open about the fact she wants kids and last month it was claimed that she wanted to open her home to an Australian Aboriginal child.

But now Kylie - who was treated for breast cancer last year - insists she has no plans to start a family just yet. She's also come to terms with the fact that she may never have children of her own.

"I am not at that stage and I might never have a 2.4 nuclear family - but I don't know if that makes me any less fulfilled or happy than anybody else," she tells Britain's You magazine.

"This is the only life I have. This is the one I know. I can't be in someone else's shoes."
