Kylie Minogue left sore and tired after filming Doctor Who

Kylie Minogue says she was left sore and tired after filming Doctor Who - but she still couldn't stop smiling.

Millions of viewers tuned in to watch the singer's guest appearance on the hit sci-fi show.

The pop princess set pulses racing when she shared a steamy kiss with the star David Tennant.

Kylie plays a waitress on board the Titanic who helps the doctor battle disaster.  With her help, the Christmas special pulled in 12.2 million viewers.

Speaking on behind the scenes programme Dr Who Confidential, Kylie said: "It's been an absolute blast. I really had trouble wiping the smile off my face.

"The refreshing difference for me is that this isn't about me. It's about my character and the ensemble and I guess it just goes back to my roots of where I started out, being on set and being with the crew.

"It's really been enjoyable. I'm sore, I'm tired, but it's great. Happy to be here."

During filming Kylie had to be hung from a wire, 50 feet in the air. But the pint-sized star wasn't fazed by the challenge.
