The troubled pop princess spent New Year's Eve at a beachfront mansion in California with Sean Preston, Jayden James and shutter bug Adnan Ghalib.

The group was also joined by Britney's court-appointed monitor, OK! magazine reports.

Ghalib made headlines last month when he made a late-night trip with Spears to the Beverly Hills Hotel for 'lunch.'

But Ghalib has been telling pals that the hotel trip with Spears was 'the best night of his life,' OK! magazine reports.
