Johnny Depp wants to record a duet with Barry Manilow
Pirates of The Caribbean actor Johnny has revealed his secret dream - to sing a duet with music legend Barry Manilow.
Depp revealed his secret ambition to sing with the 64-year-old "Mandy" star while speaking about his new role in musical film Sweeny Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street.
"I don't think I would have attempted this kind of project with anyone but a director like Tim Burton," he says.
"But if there's a chance of doing a duet with Barry Manilow now, then I'm in!'
The 44-year-old actor originally lacked confidence in his singing abilities, but was praised by director Tim Burton - who has worked with the Hollywood star in a number of films including Edward Scissorhands and Charlie And The Chocolate Factory.
"I always had every confidence in him and he needn't have worried at all," Tim, 49, recently told a U.S. magazine.
"His performance was wonderful and exceeded all of my expectations. He is a great actor."
