Madonna sings karaoke for the Maharaja of Jodhpur

Pop superstar Madonna sung karaoke for the Maharaja of Jodhpur at a royal dinner.

The 'Material Girl' singer, 49, is currently on vacation in India with husband Guy Ritchie, 39, and their children Lourdes, 11, Rocco, seven and adopted tot David, two.

The singer - who will celebrate her 50th birthday later this year, said of the Maharaja: "Lourdes and Rocco kept hugging him. It was fabulous, we did karaoke."

She said the break was to recover from the stress of adopting Malawian son David, two, and because the "pressures of stardom" had become too much.

Banda was adopted during her world tour in 2006. Madonna said: "That tour gave me the biggest gift of my life."
