Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes turn to fertility doctors

January 7 2008

Tom Cruise and Katie HolmesHollywood couple Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have secretly turned to fertility doctors for help in conceiving their second child together, it has been revealed.

The pair, Tom, 41, and Katie, 29, are desperate for a son following the birth of daughter Suri in April 2006.

According to reports, the former 'Dawson's Creek' star is now planning to visit a specialist to determine whether the problem is on her side or her Tom's.

Katie fell pregnant with Suri just months into her whirlwind romance with the 'Top Gun' actor - but it's proving far more difficult to concieve this time round.

"She says they've been trying since the summer," says a source close to the famous pair. "But it just hasn't happened for them yet."

In a bid to cheer her up, close friend Victoria Beckham took Katie out shopping to buy lots of sexy lingerie.

"They went to Neiman Marcus and Agent Provocateur and Katie spent $3,000 in one shopping spree," reveals a pal. "She picked up all sorts to turn Tom on, including lacy bras and matching knickers, G-strings, garters, a few corsets and see-through nightgowns."

I thought "Scientology can

I thought "Scientology can cure that" . . . maybe that's why she cut her hair so short? (maybe she was shopping at the wrong store . . . she should try a pair of leather cowboy chaps and a fake moustache to rev Tom up)

I don't believe this for one

I don't believe this for one minute. As dedicated Scientologist Cruise cannot possibly allow primitive doctors to fiddle around with his wife.

The genius L Ron Hubbard, who cured his serious war wounds by the power of will alone, should be the inspiration for clearing Holmes of the body thetans clogged around her uterus.

Taking drugs or anything which alters body chemistry such as hormones is absolutely against the practices of Scientology. The 'tech' is there and should be used. If for some reason it doesn't work it's not the fault of the tech but the person incorrectly applying it.

You can't have it both ways. You are either 'IN' or 'OUT': fully committed or not.

'It's wild and woolly and a blast' or it isn't. There is no compromise so there can be no contradiction. If Tom and Katie are planning something secret, they have something to hide. If this is so will we ever be able to trust them again?
