Amy Winehouse's mother-in-law furious
Amy Winehouse's mother-in-law is said to be furious that the 'Rehab' singer spent part of her Caribbean holiday with her ex-boyfriend, George Roberts, while her husband Blake Fielder-Civil languishes in jail.
Fielder-Civil's momĀ Georgette made her feelings clear yesterday as she visited Blake, on remand in Pentonville Prison for alleged assault and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
Georgette said: "What signal is it sending out? Amy's husband is stuck in jail and she's cavorting with an old boyfriend. What's she playing at? It's just not on."
Amy - who flew back from Bryan Adams' villa in the paradise isle of Mustique at the weekend - visits Blake in jail later this week.
Blake, 25, is said jealous of Amy's friendship with George.
Amy - who was scheduled to perform at the Grammy awards in February, has used George as a shoulder to cry on through her recent troubles. A friend of Blake said yesterday: "He is furious she was with George while he was locked up
She has lapped up the sun while he's been on his own feeling miserable. He doesn't like her friendship with George as it is. Being in jail, he feels more and more detached from Amy.
"He wants an explanation. But he's also desperate not to lose her."
