Nicole Kidman "very excited" about pregnancy
Nicole Kidman - who recently revealed that she was pregnant after her rep denied the reports the previous week, has spoken out the pregnancy.
This is Kidman's first child with her country music star husband, Keith Urban.
As the couple, both 40, left Sydney restaurant Lucios last night, Nicole said she felt "very excited". Asked if she was having a boy or a girl, she just smiled and replied: "Secret."
The actress' mum Janelle told a TV station in Australia yesterday she was: "Very pleased, really pleased indeed. Nothing else would make me come out straight from the pool on to the front door step. I think it's (expected) in July."
Rumors had been flying for weeks that the 'Stepford Wives' actress is pregnant - including reports that she told her family in Australia the happy news over Christmas.
Only a few days ago, Nicole's rep, Wendy Day was laughed off the baby rumors as: "It's the silly season. It's just another rumor out of London. It is incorrect."
But yesterday, Wendy said: "The couple are thrilled. For years I've seen speculation and for years it's never been right, so I didn't think it was right this time.
"I personally didn't know, so I'm excited today, very excited."
Yesterday, actor George Clooney spoke out about Nicole's pregnancy.
"I'm thrilled for her," Clooney said just hours after Kidman confirmed she was expecting a child with husband Keith Urban.
"She'll be great."
After a pause, he quipped: "She'll be a tall mother."
Kidman has two adopted children, Isabella, 15, and Connor, 12, with ex-husband Tom Cruise.
Clooney and Kidman have been close friends since filming 1997's The Peacemaker.
