OJ Simpson's bail revoked

January 12 2008

O.J. SimpsonOJ Simpson's bail has been revoked and he's heading back to jail, it is reported.

The Juice is said to have flown from Miami, Florida, to Las Vegas where he was due to arrive early today, amid allegations that he has violated the terms of his release.

According to US reports, the bondsman revoked OJ's bail - which he legally can do - because he learned that the Clark County District Attorney (DA) had filed a motion to revoke the bail.

The DA's office in Sin City was today meeting with the judge in the case, Jackie Glass.

A hearing was set for this coming Wednesday.

A close friend of OJ says the former football star is "crushed" at the latest twist in the case and was "really strict and abiding by the rules of the bail".

The source added that Simpson - who is charged with a Las Vegas hotel room robbery - had been extra careful.

He had apparently "even avoided Christmas parties where people involved in this case might have been".
