Mika afraid of water

Mika says he's terrified of water.

The Lebanese-born singer - who shot to fame with his hit single 'Grace Kelly,' has such a phobia of anything wet, he claims he wouldn't swim with fish even if he was offered £1 million ($2 million).

He said: "I have a phobia of anything that's in the water. I hate water. I'll go to the beach but I won't go in. I wouldn't swim with fish for £1 million."

Despite his fear, the 'Relax Take It Easy' singer insists he is still a very adventurous person.

He revealed: "I went caving on my holidays, and I went ice-climbing at Christmas."

However, Mika - full name Mica Penniman, admits he was not so athletic at school and once had the unpleasant experience of being initiated into the rugby team.

He confessed: "I managed to skip pretty much every rugby game at my school, so by the time I actually got one, they decided to give me the initiation which involved me lying on the floor in the mud with everyone putting one foot on my back. I had to stay there for 15 minutes and I couldn't breathe - I had it up my nose!"
