Janet Jackson's new music video premiers on MTV
Janet Jackson shows off dancing skills to rival her older brother in her latest music video.
Janet, 41, showed her fancy footwork in the pop vid for new single, 'Feedback' that premiered on MTV Monday.
The video sees a fit Janet dancing in Space with a group of droids that would put Michael Jackson to shame. It's the first single to be taken from her tenth studio album 'Discipline'.
The album is set for release on 26 February.
"Discipline' is Janet's debut release for Island Def Jam after more than a decade at Virgin Records.
Her last album, 2006's '20 Y.O.,' sold a disappointing 648,000 copies in the US.

I like both Janet and Michael, but cannot be compared, Michael Joseph Jackson is THE ARTIST !!! He cannot be compared vocally, musically or dancing to any other !!!

I must say that it is disapointing that this kinda statement is issued by your site. I have been a fan of both Michael and Janet Jackson for over 20yrs and i must say that although Janet has prevailled the music industry in her own right but we have the numbers on record, Michael beats her hands down in every field. Just take a look at their album record deal for 1990, Janet signed a deal for $100million while her brother in th same year signed the Dangerous album deal for $1Billion.
Michael and Janet are great artist period. A comparisim is the last thing that should be brought up.

yes they are both great dancers and both should be respected but the POINT is, MICHAEL IS FAR MORE VERSATILE (seen by his hip hop, pop and lock, jazz, tap etc.) also MICHAEL IS A PIONEER AND CREATED A UNIQUE STYLE (janet herself talks about copying his steps and style!).. not to mention JT, Ciara, Beyonce, Mario, Chris Brown, Genuwine and the list is HUGE... are not thanking Janet THEY ARE ALL (INCLUDING JANET) thanking MICHAEL JACKSON... she has sais so herself... TTHAT IS THE POINT! RESPECT a great pioneer and dancer.. there is no comparison with what he has done to lift the quality of performers and pop music entertainment... its not about whether janet can just do some steps as well as him

In my own opinon I feel that both Janet and Michael are on an equal level I,ve watched both Thriller and Pleasure Priciple video from both artists and found them both very fresh well choerographed and timeless I have also seen them together on Scream video they were both on the same level as the the dance moves wasn precise and they both made it seem effortless despite michael having more sales album wise, Janet I feel has gained respect from different generations as she has always evolved with the times this her current video proves it.

Janet has had a great career. She is a good performer. But thats where is stops. She is good. Michael Jackson is the most complete, pollish, ultimate performer ever. Janet can sing fairly well, but Michael Jackson can sing EXTREMELY well. Janet has fairly good videos, but Michael has the BEST videos. Janet can dance very well, but NO ONE MOVES LIKE MICHAEL JACKSON!
When Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire, Michael Peters and the Electric Boogaloos are ALL in complete awe of the way someone moves, you know theyre special. Thats all i have to say

obviously you have never seen michael perform live or else you would not be making such radical comments....janet can in no way compare to michael when it comes to dancing. they are 2 worlds apart in that arena and i agree totally with comment #2, you guys are definitely desperate for some web traffic
