Matthew McConaughey confirms girlfriend's pregnancy

Matthew McConaughey has confirmed that his girlfriend is pregnant.

McConaughey, 38 announced on his website on Tuesday that his girlfriend, Camilla Alves, 22, is pregnant with his baby.

The actor wrote: "My girlfriend Camilla and I made a baby together... its 3 months growin in her womb and all looks healthy and lively so far."

The Texas born star has been dating Brazilian model Alves since July 2007.

McConaughey has had a number of high-profile relationships with a number of beauty's including Sandra Bullock, Ashley Judd, Salli Richardson and Penelope Cruz.

In November 2006, McConaughey poked fun at the rumours he was involved in a gay relationship with cyclist Lance Armstrong, with the comment, "We tried it. Wasn't for us.
