Sienna Miller wins in naked photo case

January 18 2008

Sienna MillerA photographer who snapped actress Sienna Miller naked invaded her privacy, a judge has ruled.

Warren Richardson was told he had no defense after using a long lens to catch the actress, 26, undressing on the set of film Hippie Hippie Shake.

Mr Justice Eady also told the Xposure photo agency worker to hand over the photos.

Representing her in her privacy claim at London's High Court, David Sherborne said Ms Miller was "extremely distressed" by the "highly intrusive" pictures of her removing her clothes and walking into a lake.

"Her distress was further aggravated, not only by the flagrant disregard of her rights, but the context in which the photos were taken [and] the constant climate of harassment and intrusiveness which she has had to suffer," he said.

Miller could win damages from Richardson, on top of £37,500 (roughly $70,000) she has already won from News Group and the agency.
