Christina Ricci loves gambling

Actress Christina Ricci attended the Grand opening party for the Palazzo in Las Vegas on Thursday night - and felt right at home.

"I've learned to love gambling," Ricci, 27, told People.com.

"I was in Australia for a few months and gambling is like a national pastime there, so I learned to love betting on horses.

"Now I even put in a few football bets and I'm kind of obsessed and into it. Gambling is pretty good."

On Thursday night, blackjack was her game of choice - and she did well.

She isn't quite as successful with the gee gees, though.

"I have no strategy (with horse racing) and I never pick winners," she says. "But it's still fun."
