MikaFlamboyant singer Mika says his new found fame has turned him into "a bit of a b*****d".

The 'Happy Ending' singer - whose debut album 'Life in Cartoon Motion' was released last year, and was named the fifth best selling album of 2007 worldwide, admits his personality has changed since he became a pop star.

He said: "From becoming famous, I've found out that I can be a bit of a b*****d! I have to say that the success was a surprise but the things that came as a result of the success were not a surprise. If anything they were a cliché and I didn't really get much enjoyment out of them.

"One thing I've learned is that when things are going badly, people will let you do whatever you want. It's when things are going well that you have to push for what you believe in."

However, the Lebanese-born, London based singer also insists there are perks to being a successful recording artist.

He said: "I saw Prince play at a London venue recently. That was a showbiz perk. The one person I would pay to go and see, and I didn't have to pay!"
