January 24 2008

Mary-Kate OlsenThe masseuse who found tragic Heath Ledger unconscious at his apartment called actress Mary-Kate Olsen before paramedics, it was reported last night.

Panicking Diane Lee Wolozin is said to have used Heath's own cell phone speed dial to call Mary-Kate, who is also one of her celebrity clients.

A police source told website PageSix.com Wolozin said: "Heath is unconscious, I don't know what to do."

She called back minutes later and screamed: "I think he may be dead. I'm calling 911."

Mary-Kate reassured her she had already sent someone over to the New York apartment to help, according to the website.

Wolozin is said to have struggled to resuscitate Heath until paramedics arrived at 3.33pm local time - just as Mary-Kate's bodyguards turned up.

Heath was pronounced dead at 3.36pm.

PageSix.com quoted law enforcement sources as saying they did not believe the delay in calling 911 played any part in his death and that he had already passed away.
