Sam Lutfi admits giving Britney Spears "a handful of pills"
Sam Lutfi has responded to claims made by Britney Spears' mom, Lynne, that he "drugged her daughter" - saying he gave the star "a handful of pills" before her parents arrived at the singer's Beverly Hills home last week.
"I said these pills are working wonders, they are miracle pills," he recalls. Spears, Lutfi says, agreed that the pills were helping her sleep.
In their restraining order filed yesterday, Britney's parents accused Lutfi of drugging their daughter and being verbally abusive. Jamie, who has been named as Britney's conservator, "is doing what he has to do to save Britney," a source tells Us Weekly magazine.
Lutfi says only he and Spears - who is one of nearly six million American adults suffering from bipolar disorder, and her psychiatrist know what brought on her the illness "roughly five years ago."
When the ambulance arrived to take Spears, "she was very quiet," Lutfi says.
"When I told her, she wrote me a note and put a big heart on it and it said, 'I love you, Sam. Are there people coming? Circle yes or no,'" Lutfi recalls. "Oh, my God, it was funny, just the cutest little thing. I circled yes and I gave it back to her, and she looked at me and she's like, 'Oh, lord, here we go again.'"
Meanwhile, a new Rolling Stone magazine interview with Lutfi hit newsstands in the US today. In it, Lutfi claims to have been making notes for a possible biography on Spears.
He told the magazine: "We've been doing dictation, she's been telling me her story, and I've been writing it all down.
"It would make a great book!"

Sam needs to be charged
Sam needs to be charged criminally with abuse of the mentally ill. Add K-Fed to the list because when all is said and done my bet is that he will be involved in the apprearance of Sam in Brit's life. Let the hospital do their job because she might just have post partum depression which can become a psychosis when untreated or when the woman is being abused. I like how Sam met Britney in October 2007 but claims to know how her mental illness started "5 years ago". So he is trying to date the onset at a time before K-Fed....Jamie Spears is right to get the lawyers representing her fired. They have done nothing for Brit. They even failed to have K-FEd randomly drug tested when a video online showed him smoking pot while on a break at the set of One Tree Hill. Those lawyers have done nothing but take her money and let Kaplan take some 500K too.

Can someone answer this question. When did Britneys drug and chiatic behavior started? Are you guys saying that it started when Creepy Sam got involved with in October of 2007? I love Britney but I will not sit here and make any excuses of who's drugging her. Britney knew about drug before Creepy Sam. Creepy Sam just want to be like that creepy Anna Nicole Smiths lawyer/boyfriend/husband. Right now Britney touch love from his family and no more lame excuses and blaming games because that's not going to help her. She a grown woman and I am pretty sure that she is not an idiot to let creepy Sam drug her to death
