Eva Mendes checks out of rehab

February 7 2008

Eva MendesActress Eva Mendes has reportedly checked out of rehab and is now back home in Los Angeles.

The 33-year-old 'Ghost Rider' star left Utah's Cirque Lodge rehab clinic on Feb 6 and boarded a flight to Los Angeles shortly after 9pm (PST) after spending a number of weeks in the facility, American magazine Life & Style has said.

At the time checking into rehab, Eva's rep said:  "Eva has been working hard for the past year and made a positive decision to take some much-needed time off to pro-actively attend to some personal issues that, while not critical, she felt deserved some outside professional support."

Cirque Lodge is one of the most respected treatment facilities in the US and has treated several other stars, including Lindsay Lohan - who checked in last August and her treatment there began in the weeks following her early morning July 24 arrest in Santa Monica, California, on suspicion of drunken driving after a brief car chase. She checked out at the end of September.

And as one Hollywood star checks out of the Lodge, another one checks in.
