Heath LedgerThe New York apartment where Hollywood star Heath Ledger died from an accidental drugs overdose is going back on the market.

Ledger was discovered dead in the SoHo loft on January 22 after mixing a deadly cocktail of drugs.

Now the luxurious 4,400sq-ft apartment, which Aussie Ledger started renting for $22,000-a-month in September, is being quietly shopped around, the New York Post reports. "You don't wait around in a hot rental market like this," one broker told the Post's Braden Keil.

"As ghoulish as it sounds, people will rent that place in a heartbeat, especially when the vacancy rate is below one per cent."

The fourth-floor apartment at 421 Broome Street includes three bedrooms, an office, a laundry room, a luxury kitchen and a balcony.

It also has 15-ft ceilings, cast-iron columns, exposed brick walls and a wood-burning fireplace. Insiders say the apartment will be rented out for $25,000-a-month.
