Kevin FederlineKevin Federline's new reality TV show has been put on hold as ex-wife Britney Spears' troubles continue.

The program, being produced by America's E! network, was set to chart the life of single, working dad and his family. But it has been shelved for now.

Wannabe rapper Federline, 29, has two sons with Spears - Sean Preston, two, and Jayden James, one.

He also has a six-year-old daughter Kori, and a son Kaleb, four, with his ex, actress Shar Jackson.

A source said: "His plans are on hold because of the Britney situation. He had planned to do it, but not now."

Spears, 26, was released from a Los Angeles psychiatric ward on Wednesday despite pleas from her parents to keep her under medical supervision.

The show would be K-Fed's second venture in reality TV. He first appeared with Spears in "Britney & Kevin: Chaotic" which aired in 2005.

The former dancer has also made guest appearances on US television shows, "CSI," "One Tree Hill" and was briefly a pro-wrestler on "WWE Raw."

He wed Spears in October 2004. Their divorce was finalized in July 2007.
