Amy Winehouse - an early winner at the Grammys
British singer Amy Winehouse isn't in Los Angeles to accept her awards in person - but the soul diva, 24, was an early winner at Sunday night's 50th annual Grammy Awards.
The 'Rehab' star - whose visa issues this past week kept her in London, where she'll perform via satellite later this evening – scooped best pop vocal album and best female pop vocal performance in awards handed out before the show - to the delight of presenters Cyndi Lauper and Miley Cyrus.
Mark Ronson, who produced the singer's hugely successful album Back to Black, won producer of the year and called Winehouse "an amazing inspiration and has so much to do with the fact that I'm standing up here accepting this award."
Other early winners: The White Stripes, who scored two, Bruce Springsteen (with three), Justin Timberlake and Maroon 5.
We'll update you will with a full list of winners a little later.
