Scarlett Johansson sparks marriage rumors

Scarlett Johansson has sparked marriage rumors after she was seen shopping for a wedding dress with her mother.

The Lost In Translation star has been dating Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds for 12 months - but recently denied they were engaged.

But last week she was seen at Los Angeles boutigue Monique Lhullier with mum Melanie, looking at bridal gowns.

A source told a US newspaper: "They stayed for a while."

Reynolds, 31, who was engaged to Alanis Morissette from 2004 to early 2007, is reported to be keener on marriage than Johansson, 23. She has previously said she is in no rush to walk down the aisle.

Johansson has also said she does not believe in monogamy because it goes against human nature but also asserts she is "not promiscuous."

It comes amid news Johansson will have a steamy lesbian sex scene with Penelope Cruz in Woody Allen's forthcoming film Vicky Cristina Barcelona.

A spokeswoman for Johansson was unavailable for comment.
