Courteney Cox gets comic strip makeover

This could be the most animated Courteney Cox has ever been.

The ex-Friends star gets a comic strip makeover in an advert for the new series of drama Dirt.

Sporting a blue tinge to her dark hair, the actress is seen sitting on a bed reading a gossip magazine.

Cox, 43, plays tabloid editor Lucy Spiller in hit US series Dirt, which premiered its first season last year.

The actress, who rose to fame as Monica Geller in Friends, is also an executive producer on the show, together with hubby David Arquette.

The second series hits US television screens on March 2 this year.
