Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt hammer out $200 million pre-nuptial agreement
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have hammered out a $200 million pre-nuptial agreement ahead of a planned wedding later this year, it was claimed today.
Sources say the Hollywood couple have been working on a financial and custody agreement before they walk down the aisle.
But now they have settled - and hope to tie the knot before the year is out.
An insider revealed: "They have both been through divorces and are wise enough not to marry without a pre-nup in place.
"They know the score.
"They know that, if God forbid, things don't work out, they can make a clean break and go their separate ways with their separate assets."
The insider went on: "There are no joint bank accounts and there never will be.
"They keep their money separate and will continue to do so after they're married.
"It's a relief to Angie because she doesn't have to oversee Brad's spending. He has expensive tastes and spends huge amounts on motorcycles, art and property."
Pitt is reported to earn a massive $35 million-a-movie while Jolie picks up an estimated $20 million per film.
Jolie, 32, is rumoured to be around four months' pregnant with twins. She was previously married to British actor Jonny Lee Miller, whom she divorced in 1997, and screen star Billy Bob Thornton. They split in 2003.
Forty-four-year-old Pitt's marriage to Friends actress Jennifer Aniston officially ended in October 2005.
Pitt and Jolie, nicknamed "Brangelina", already have four children - adopted sons Maddox, six, and Pax, four, adopted daughter Shiloh, three and 21-month-old biological daughter, Shiloh.
The Tomb Raider star is said to be expecting twins in several months. And sources close to the couple say they want to ensure their children are looked after in the event that they split up.
The source went on: "You won't see any messy custody battle here.
"Brad will always be their dad.
"They will ensure that the children won't want for a single thing for the rest of their lives. But hopefully they will have a happily married mum and dad."
And when they finalise the pre-nuptial they plan to get married.
A source told a US magazine: "They've been talking about it for months.
"Initially they were hesitant because both have had failed marriages.
"But several years have passed, and they're both crazy about each other and their children. They've agreed it's time to set the date."
They hope to have the ceremony at New Orleans' Saint-Louis Cathedral. They own a home in the city.
Guests are expected to include pop star Gwen Stefani and her husband Gavin Rossdale, activist Mariane Pearl (whom Jolie played in Hollywood film A Mighty Heart) and Jolie's brother James Haven. But it's not clear when they will walk down the aisle.
The source continued: "It would be just like Angie to surprise everyone and get married in her eighth month [of pregnancy]."
A spokeswoman for Pitt was unavailable for comment today (Wed).

They have their financial, kids, career and most importantly each other. No one should be alone. God creates everyone to love and be love. I am happy they have decided to move on. I think Jennifer just waiting for Brad Pitt to come back to her. Never, Never will he ever return to her. She likes to be alone. There are so many children who need a home and love. Yet Jennifer have decided to spend all her money on her nose jobs and plastic face. Yet, brad and angie went out of their way to create a world famous and loving family. Glad they are going to tide the not!!! I love angelina and think she deserves nothing but Brad Pitt and her children. I always want her new name to sound "Angelina Jolie Pitt" Whoa yeah baby!!! They are such a hot couple and their children are so cute. I pray that their marriage will last forever. We need more loving people like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in this world. I think its great that they
I think its great that they are getting married. But to this John character...way to judge jennifer aniston who never says anything about this situation. I think all these Aniston haters need to grow up.

I love it -- but I've heard
I love it -- but I've heard like almost 5 different places mentioned for the wedding -- Scotland, in the middle of a boat in Lake Como, and New Orleans.
Whatever, I'm thrilled for them. I was already a major fan of AJ before she found her perfect person to share everything with, Brad. They are so smart to have the prenup settled so NEITHER of them has a feeling of being "welded" to each other if something really blows it apart. Since they've already "settled" any breakup, nothing to do but just enjoy their union.
